Each  generation takes the earth as trustees.
We ought to bequeath to posterity as many forests
and orchards as we  have exhausted and consumed.

What we are  doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror  reflection
of what we are doing to ourselves and to one  another.
- Gandhi
